COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN (DAY 23): Which were, are, and may yet be...

Just a quickie tonight...

(Hell, Vin looks pretty good here--like Reggie Watts shaved his head and joined the cast of Game of Thrones!)

Okay, so for the Halloween season we're getting a movie entitled The Last Witch Hunter starring Vin Diesel which will, dollars to donuts, be another over-SFXed action film, which is fine by me--masses being the masses--they may feed on that candy.  Hell, I might, if I get a hankering for some popcorn.

And luckily, CRIMSON PEAK came out last week and that satisfied my need for something dark and a bit spooky.  It wasn't like del Toro's best work, but it was awful pretty and gothic.  But it wasn't really "witchy", which is what we're going for here at The Goods,
this year anyway...

What I think is a real shame is that this film didn't hit screens this week.  Instead, it is said to be released on February 26th next year, which I suspect may mean limited release.  And if that's the case then I may not get a chance to check it out until as late as next year.
You hear that sucking sound?

Anyway, here's the disturbing trailer for...
