DARKSEID vs LOKI vs BLACK ADAM

My character of choice was Darkseid and I put him in the middle of the melee.

Was very fun, if a bit stressful as the deadline began to beat down on me.

The stark red, white and black color scheme is a result of being in a hurry.

Long before DC's MILESTONE universe, came GLOBAL COMICS by my brother and myself.

My little brother started our homemade comics line way back when and it wasn't long before I was drafted onto the staff of the tiny "company".

Static was the first female character I created for our comics.

A half-alien mutant with green hair and control of static electricity, I based her suit nearly completely on Bill Willingham's Morningstar from THE ELEMENTALS.

More DOODLING DIGITALLY with MURO

Over at Deviant Art, the place I do the vast majority of my art posting, they have a drawing tool to toy with called "Muro" which is a kind of simple digital drawing/painting tool that is free to use live on the site. It's fun to toy with as I'm still a digital newbie and all of the complicated tricks one can throw on a piece of art are still pretty much beyond me. Below are a few examples of me at play there:

BATMAN INK

Met yet another challenge over at DeviantArt yesterday. Batman was the subject (he seems to be the subject all too often) and I decided to throw in this quickie I came up with at Nostalgia when the gang started throwing around the idea of the new Batman series not being entitled "BATMAN INC." but being "BATMAN INK". What tatoo would Batman have, I wondered...

Five Years of Deviant Art

I've had an account over at Deviant Art for over five years, but I'd never posted any of my art there until now. No real reason than some general apathy toward my own art for a while. Anyway, there is some really great and inspirational art is posted there from photographers, painters, professional comic book illustrators and even sculptors. One can spend hours looking around at all the pretty sights (like I just did tonight).
