Since May Went Away...

without a post from yours truly, I guess I should throw in with something to cover what I've been up to all month.

And I honestly can't say that I've been all that productive, but here goes:

DANA SCULLY of The X-Files

LIZ SHERMAN from Hellboy and B.P.R.D.

DEATHSHEAD of Marvel UK

DOC SAVAGE fail, but you get the gist...

SHEENA of the Jungle

But wait, there's more...

SEVENTH SKETCH of a SEVENTH SKETCH

Seven more sketches and in about a day's time--I might post more this month than any other month this year!

This one is not so much a sketch as an partially inked version of the drawing below it--
for a better look give it a click and watch it blow up real good!

Sketch of the above--the plan is to have HB in a footprint of a big ol' monster in the Godzilla mold, perhaps the King of the Monsters himself!

The below is a shot of HB entering a dark attic, gun drawn, aware that danger awaited!

Really just wanted to draw an old-school version of the Hulk as I like to see him...

The Herculoids' Igoo, everybody, throwing his rock-like poo!

Hornhead hovers over an alley, stalking prey in his Kitchen.

Ahnold's version of the cybernetic killing machine (my interpretaion anyway)/

RIDING IN ON A DARK HORSE

Click 'em if you wanna embiggen 'em!

Two sketches from recent Outcast Studios' Daily Sketch Challenges-- never drawn the Goon before and I found him quite fun.  Might have to give him another go soon.

Been a while since I've drawn ol' Hellboy and it was fun getting back into that character and his modus operandi.

DWARF-ISH and the SIX SKETCHES

Y'GOR the UNWASHED about to handle some business.

A lady's torso--2 minute sketch.

A dude's torso on the move.

Teenage Hellboy battling what was to be a small band of Pirate Skeletons.

Hulk is just about to throw a tantrum.

Power Pack's Alex Power after having whooped the Hulk.

Quick shot of Sabretooth's torso--turned out okay, but kind of limited.

SONS OF SATAN, THE ALL-FATHER and RICK GRIMES

The three sons featured today are all children of men who have made powerful names for themselves in their own ways...

You can enlarge any of these images for further review--it's fun even!

(Carl Grimes, son of Rick, a survivalist family during a zombie plague)

(Hellboy and Thor measuring each other up--it's a hero thing.)

(Thor looking as pissed as usual.)

(Hellboy's hunting down some kind of nasty sumbitch)

B.P.R.D. Agent Tobias Morrell and the Red Rage

B.P.R.D. Agent Tobias "Toby" Morrell is a typical field agent of the bureau who specializes in hoodoo a.k.a. voodoo. Tobias grew up surrounded by practicing witchdoctors and learned their ways early in life. While not a practicing witchdoctor himself, he can summon up the spirits and manipulate them if need be. Tobias knows there can be a great cost for asking favors of the gods, so he usually makes sure he exhausts all earthly means before resorting to such things.

This is Red Rage, the result of the alien symbiote Carnage taking over Frank Castle, the Punisher. Done for the Daily Sketch Challenge Group over at DeviantArt.

HELLBOY MEETS KOLCHAK THE NIGHTSTALKER!

At Heroes Con in Charlotte this year, my pal Jeff picked up a sketchbook to get some of the many good folks in "Artist Alley" to doodle speedy drawings in to remember them by (or was it sell on eBay for profit?). So it was suggested to him by a fellow friend (Tilley?) or maybe he thought it up himself? I draw a blank. Anyway, I came to draw this in his notebook in my spare time this week:

It was great fun to work on and a great idea for a crossover. Similar to my wet dream of having a Hellboy and Captain America team-up.
